Lizzie Rendell new D&I Leader for BoKlok

Lizzie Rendell has been appointed the new Diversity & Inclusion Leader for BoKlok. She stepped into her position on 6 June, 2022.

Lizzie will be the first full-time leader for diversity and inclusion for BoKlok. Her mission is to facilitate the organisation’s journey to becoming a more inclusive employer, working across BoKlok’s four markets in Finland, Norway, Sweden and the UK.

Lizzie has previously worked as Head of Strategic Markets for Skanska UK. She has had an active role in developing the LGBT+ Network for Skanska UK and has been involved with other employee networks and broader inclusion and diversity initiatives.

- I´m very happy to welcome Lizzie to BoKlok and to the HR team. Her broad experience and competence within the D&I area will be a great asset to BoKlok’s D&I journey. BoKlok’s five operating units will get excellent support going forward with their D&I action plans, says Aija Harju, BoKlok SVP Human Resources.

- Inclusion is at the core of BoKlok’s market offering and I am excited to become a driving force in enabling BoKlok to realise more of the benefits that inclusion can bring. Creating an environment where people can bring their authentic selves to work, recognising the value that difference can bring and further understanding our customer’s needs will be key focus areas for us going forwards, says Lizzie Rendell.
