On Tuesday 31 May, H.M. Queen Silvia inagurated SilviaBo in Helsingborg, Sweden. SilviaBo is a housing concept for elder adults, jointly developed by the Silviahemmet Foundation, BoKlok and IKEA.
Sara Erman has been appointed Senior Vice President Sustainability & Innovation at BoKlok. She will take up her new position on 1 April and will continue to be part of the BoKlok management team. Sara will be heading a new function for sustainability, digitalisation, research & development, product development and business development.
The construction industry is sometimes referred to as being a male-oriented industry. BoKlok Finland is a good example of the opposite where about half of the employees are women. One of them is Country Manager Kati Valtonen. She gives her view of the importance of female role models and encourages more women to apply for jobs in the industry.
Once again, BoKlok Sweden has the great honour to receive first prize for “Sweden’s most satisfied customers” in a yearly survey in the industry of housing developers. It is the fourth time in six years BoKlok reaches first position.
The country manager in BoKlok Norway, Tove Borchgrevink, looks back at a steady organisation and execution during the pandemic year 2021. Now it’s time for new housing projects, and new colleagues, in 2022. BoKlok Norway currently have two job opportunities open.
Another exciting year is about to turn. And with that, BoKlok Finland wants to take the time to highlight some important moments this past year.
When BoKlok Sweden looks back on 2021, it has been both an exciting and challenging year. In the midst of a pandemic, major investments and digitalisation have been managed with the help of fantastic employees, to ensure that BoKlok continues to develop the green vision for the future, while the legacy of Skanska and IKEA lives on.
